
Children, Adolescent, Bilingual Specialist
​Brenda will graduate from Governors State University in December of 2024 as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs. She meets high standards, evolves with the changing landscape, and adequately prepares to meet her clients’ needs. Brenda’s passions include treating children, adolescents, and young adults. Another passion is working with bilingual or Spanish-speaking clients. She strongly believes in Holistic psychotherapy which addresses the mind, body, and spirit to support health and healing. Alongside Cognitive Behavior therapy, play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing she is prepared to support clients and tailor them to their own identified goals and needs. Soon to be a licensed therapist Brenda’s goal is to learn about her clients and help them work towards their individual goals using professional knowledge and creativity. She is excited and driven to help her clients through difficulties and guide them through life transitions. Brenda welcomes the opportunity to provide elite services to her future clients.
