Brenda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governors State University. Her graduate program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Brenda is committed to maintaining high professional standards, staying responsive to the evolving mental health field, and meeting the diverse needs of her clients.
Brenda works with children, adolescents, and adults, and she has a particular passion for supporting young people and bilingual and Spanish-speaking clients. She embraces a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.
She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Brenda thoughtfully tailors treatment to each client’s unique goals, using both clinical skill and creativity to support growth and emotional wellness.
As a licensed professional counselor, Brenda’s mission is to walk alongside her clients through life’s challenges, transitions, and healing journeys.
