Counseling Services
In the journey of life, we all encounter challenges that can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed. Whether you’re facing specific issues like anxiety, depression, co-dependency, or navigating life transitions, counseling offers a supportive space for you. It’s not just for those in crisis; some seek counseling as a proactive measure, a tune-up for their well-being. Regardless of your current situation, counseling can be a valuable resource.

From a humanistic viewpoint, counseling is about understanding and respecting your unique experiences and perspectives. It’s a safe haven where you can open up without judgment and start addressing the issues that matter to you. Beyond addressing specific concerns like relationship issues, stress, trauma, or racial identity, counseling also caters to broader aspects of life.

Whether you’re seeking Christian counseling, women of color issues, guidance in marital or premarital matters, dealing with infidelity, or exploring coping tools, counseling provides a holistic approach. It extends its embrace to children, adolescents, and teenagers, recognizing the diverse challenges each age group faces.

In essence, counseling is a journey of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment. It’s a commitment to your mental and emotional well-being, ensuring that you have the tools and support to navigate the complexities of life. So, whether you’re looking to overcome a specific challenge or simply seeking a space for self-reflection and growth, counseling is here for you.

Intensive Therapy
If you’re grappling with issues like anxiety, PTSD, depression, sex/porn addiction, or betrayal trauma, a therapeutic intensive might be the transformative solution you’re seeking. Approached from a humanistic viewpoint, intensive sessions are conducted in an 8-week format, meeting once a week for 3-4 hours a day. This extended timeframe allows for a deep exploration of individual or couple-focused concerns, offering a safe space for healing.

Unlike traditional therapy sessions, intensives provide substantial time for meaningful work, avoiding the rushed feeling often associated with shorter sessions. The benefits include personalized intensive plans tailored to your needs, incorporating more than just talk therapy. Three tiers of intensives are available, ranging from standard sessions to those with additional yoga release practices and bonus check-in sessions.

Upon completion, you’ll leave with foundational tools to enhance your ongoing healing journey, address behavioral patterns, and overcome hindering blocks. It’s crucial to note that while intensives aren’t a universal cure, they can significantly supplement your healing journey. This approach isn’t for everyone, especially those not ready for intensive work; some issues may be better explored at a slower pace before considering an intensive.

To start your intensive experience, a one-on-one intake meeting is the initial step. This comprehensive session, lasting 1 to 2 hours, allows for a thorough history analysis, enabling the determination of the required hours and the formulation of a personalized plan. This plan encompasses scheduling, techniques to be used, expectations during the intensive
Sexual Addiction
Sexual addiction is characterized by an unhealthy or pathological relationship with sex or pornography, persisting despite negative consequences. This addictive behavior often leads to shame, depression, isolation, and a loss of control. In contrast, healthy sexual behavior involves mutual respect, clear communication, joyfulness, and genuine intimacy, fostering emotional and physical well-being.

To determine if you may be struggling with sexual addiction, a free screening test is available at http://www.new.recoveryzone.com. This self-assessment tool helps individuals evaluate their behaviors and provides insights into potential addiction.

If you find yourself in need of treatment, the first step is a one-on-one meeting with a clinician for an initial assessment. This crucial step allows for a comprehensive evaluation of symptoms, guiding the development of an effective treatment plan. Recognizing that starting treatment is a significant decision, the clinician aims to support individuals through this process. Those seeking more information or ready to begin the journey can fill out the contact form on the website, initiating the path towards recovery and healing.

Embracing a humanistic viewpoint, the focus is on understanding and addressing the unique experiences and emotions of individuals dealing with sexual addiction. The goal is to create a safe and respectful space for clients to embark on their journey toward hope and recovery, guided by principles of mutual understanding and genuine connection.

Brainspotting Therapy
What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.

BSP makes use of the natural phenomenon of where you look affects how you feel through its use of relevant eye positions. Together the therapist and client pair a fixed eye position and body sensation to an unresolved issue. This rapid, highly effective mind/body centered therapy technique appears to go beyond the cognitive awareness and connects one to their body’s innate wisdom to heal itself.

Is it right for you?
Brainspotting is a therapeutic tool for everyone with a variety of issues. If you are new to therapy and are looking for a way to change patterns of behavior, Brainspotting can help resolve the emotional and physical pain that keeps you stuck in those patterns. If you have been in therapy before, but have the sense that your work could go deeper, Brainspotting can take therapy to another level of healing. If you are uncomfortable with talking about your past traumatic experiences, this modality will enable you to heal without having to tell or retell your story. Lastly, Brainspotting can be used to enhance performance, creativity, and create regulation in your brain and body.
