Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Social Worker, or
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team, with a strong focus on serving
minority populations and couples. We are particularly interested in candidates who
identify as male and are bilingual in English and Spanish. This position offers the
flexibility of both remote and in-person sessions, catering to the unique needs of our
diverse clientele.


Key Responsibilities
– Provide culturally competent individual, couples, and family therapy, with a special
emphasis on serving minority populations.
– Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and
implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
– Facilitate therapy sessions that address a range of issues, including relationship
dynamics, communication, and cultural identity.
– Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment
plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
– Collaborate with clients to establish realistic goals and effective treatment strategies.
– Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and collaborate with other
professionals as necessary.
– Stay updated with the latest research and practices in mental health, particularly in
areas relevant to minority groups and couples therapy.
– Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding client care and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Current and valid licensure as a:
Illinois
✔️Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
✔️ Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
✔️ Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
✔️ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)


Texas
✔️ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
✔️ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
✔️ Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-licensure, with a preference for
experience in couples therapy and minority mental health.
✔️ Fluency in English. Spanish speaking is a plus.
✔️ Strong knowledge of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy
(CBT), person-centered, Trauma-informed care, Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and/or
culturally responsive therapy.
✔️ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently and manage a part-time caseload.
✔️ Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
– Lived experience or professional background in working with diverse and
underrepresented communities.
– Specialized training or certification in couples therapy, multicultural counseling, or
trauma-informed care.
– Proven ability to engage and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation
Commensurate with experience and qualifications. It includes an administrative rate
per week and a competitive per-client percentage.
