Christina Virgini
After a decade of leading teams and managing complex projects in the corporate tech industry, I decided to return to work that truly aligns with my values—supporting people through therapy. Before my time in corporate leadership, I proudly served in the United States military, where I learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and emotional strength under pressure. My experiences as a veteran shaped the way I approach life and my work with clients—grounded, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the resilience that lives within each of us.
I bring the same clarity, empathy, and focus that helped me thrive in both the military and business world into the counseling space, where the goal is healing, connection, and growth.
As a Resident in Training, I work with individuals and couples to help them better understand themselves, navigate relational stress, and build emotional resilience. My therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—two evidence-based models that help clients explore emotional patterns, attachment needs, and the inner “parts” of themselves that shape their relationships and responses.
In addition to helping clients manage challenges like communication struggles, conflict, and emotional overwhelm, I have a special focus on working with betrayal trauma and couples recovering from the impact of sex or pornography addiction. Healing in these areas requires a delicate balance of compassion, structure, and attunement to both partners’ needs. I walk alongside clients as they rebuild trust, strengthen safety, and cultivate new ways of relating that honor honesty, connection, and growth.
My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you are navigating life transitions, recovering from trauma, or working to reconnect in your relationship, I bring a heart of service and a deep belief in your capacity to heal—values strengthened through my journey as a veteran, a leader, and now, a therapist-in-training.
