Specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety management, and relational dynamics, Melvetta draws from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Family Systems. Her work is not only guided by these approaches but also by a deep respect for each client’s unique story and cultural background, ensuring a personalized and culturally sensitive therapeutic experience.
Melvetta is particularly skilled in supporting clients through difficult life transitions, such as divorce, grief, co-dependency, and family disruptions, including those related to foster care or school challenges.
